A solid spiritual foundation is very crucial

It’s really difficult to be in a relationship with a man who is unable to admit his fears and faults. It’s even more difficult to try and ride that out, in hopes that he will get passed them, as he incessantly blames and projects onto you. Constantly being on the defensive in a relationship is very damaging to the spirit. Women cannot continue to be held responsible for the imbalance that this behavior brings to a relationship, nor can we continue to be expected to mitigate it. Yes… I’ve had some bad run-ins! Can you tell? LOL

Iyanla you are soo on it! I find all of what you said deeply helpful in allowing me to locate within myself how those shortcomings mentioned affect my relationships with others. And vice versa. Clarity and critical awareness helps us in choosing to break patterns! Thank you!

in all relationships before anyone starts to date, it would be wise to have fun first, next have more fun, then if there is an attraction a solid meaningful conversation should take place with both persons discussing their goals, dreams, must haves and can’t stands! honesty first! this will save many from bad, toxic, cheating, lying, abusive relationships! c speak your truth the moment it becomes serious and be extremely honest! trust me! the more up front the less time you waste, experiencing another bad relationship that should have never moved forward. Never need afraid to speak your truth! Never date anyone whose habits don’t align themselves with your life! patience and communication is the key! join me on Instagram and Facebook@ Quentin Sharone Carson

A lot of people rely on their physical, human self and not on their spiritual self. So so true! Thank you Ms. Iyanla!

Man is scared and full of ego. Act on there on physical being instead of spiritual. It causes them to be weak with out noticing it and they end up falling . One lie lead to another . And a lie have to cover up another . Men donot like to say sorry, I was wrong or I made a mistake . If man be true to themselves and others will be so much better . Alot of people is very hurt today because of dishonesty and a lack of true love to themself and other. I am so sorry about that but that just how it is. Thank you Iyanla . You are a blessing to this world.💖💖💖💖💖💖❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

You hit the nail on the head with that 3rd one. God and spirituality provide you with a set of principles from which accountability stems from. Such a major point. Plus you don’t have to wait for him to tell you, you can SEE it by the way he lives his life. Ego-centered or grounded in God?

Thanks Iyanla! I also think a lot of men are busy riding their ego ( I believe you did mention the ego ) and they are not humble.
A lot could be worked through if they had more humility. I suppose that can go for both sexes but the man supposed to take the lead as the head but they are too busy being proud and defensive. Shame really.
