Savage lol! It’s time to execute. Been tapping into my inner lion the past month, and damn does it feel good. People have been trying to put their limitations on me my whole life, and that’s through with.

1. Go into lion mode. “Don’t put your limitations on me. I’m dead to your limitations. Your limitations don’t exist in my world!” I can’t get this one out of my head! Powerful!

in my 15th summer, I gave up.
I woke up one morning and realized that I had no hope. My father was on summer break and was going to ride me like a two dollar mule for three months, then fall would come, back to school and all the kids who hated me and wanted me dead.
so I gave up. I realized that the creator didn’t hate me, even though almost every one else did. so I would die that day. I didn’t need to kill myself: I would go to sleep that night, and wake up in heaven the next morning.
at first, my parents didn’t notice a differance. but as the day progressed, my indifference became apparent. they became concerned, started trying to engage me in conversation, to get me enthusiastic about something, anything. I wasn’t interested.
finally the day passed. I went to bed, sure I would awaken in heaven the next morning.
of course, I didn’t. but I did awaken to a realization: that if my creator had kept me in this world, he and/or she must have a purpose for me to be here. I just hadn’t discovered it yet.
of course, my mother noticed my change in demeanor. she asked me about it as we were cleaning the bottles we used to feed the calves. we kept cattle at the time.
I told her the truth. she wept.
“do you want me to leave him, Jason?” she knew that my father was the primary source of my depression.
at age 15, I made my first truly adult decision.
“No,” I said. “we’re a family. family sticks together. we’ll get through it.” and we did.:)
